You are 100% correct as usual but we must go further.

Samantha, we need to MAgGA.

"Make Agriculture Great Again."

Families should be able not only to grow their own food, but sell the excess and even make a sustainable profit and living off of their own farming.

But all I know is, for the last 90 years? government and industrial agriculture have conspired to make it next to IMPOSSIBLE for small family-run farm operations to exist and profit.

As well, farmland (and woodland) is bought up by urban dwellers like the escaping New Yorkers, developed into megaMcMansions and unnecessary shopping centers far from downtowns, raising taxes and kicking out generational farmers and rural inhabitants, even as progressive "environmentalists" look the other way. Pennsylvania is a good example of this.

We need to change this. Can you look into this and shine a light on all the red-tape regulations and stranglehold price-fixing and other evils that deny normal people the chance to run their own profitable farms?

God bless you. You use all your gifts well! (This may have posted elsewhere as I pass through glitches, sorry!)

Amen to that! I am learning about all these regulations reading Joel Salatin's books and from our neighbors and local small farmers since we relocated to a rural-adjacent area 5 years ago. Thankfully, our state regulations are pretty friendly to them but you are so right about all that red tape!
