So beautifully said mama!! I love you shared this. What a blessing to have others pouring into your kiddos lives!! And for them to see their mama do something that fulfills her so that she can help others and be filled up from her love of writing❤️

Yes! Have you read Your Blue Flame by Jen Fulwiler? She makes this same point so well about our limits becoming invitations for others to give!

It is sooo good! I listened to it probably 6 times when I was writing my first book. Still revisit so many things in various chapters.

This really spoke to me today especially- thank you so much for putting this into words and giving me the ability to share your wisdom with some other mama friends!

I would love to know how you make time to write books in the midst of everything else you do! I am always desiring a large chunk of time to sit and think and write, but that is so hard to find. Do you use help to find it? Or do you write in small bits throughout the day? Shifting back and forth between caregiving and creating is so hard on my brain (and temper!). I'd love to know if you have any tips for navigating those mental transitions well. 🩷

Wonderful. Praise God for that!

For me it changes throughout the seasons-- of motherhood and just the literal seasons. More time in the summer when we aren't homeschooling. I am discovering little pockets here and there, like during piano lessons or during my mom's hour at co-op. I used to use the early morning but now I need the sleep more because of my autoimmune issues. It's always a work in progress and just asking God to reveal the time and help me steward it faithfully.

Good for you on giving up social media! I can't imagine leaving it completely, but I do try to limit it to 10-15 minutes a day. Best wishes on your trip to Alabama and your appearance on EWTN! Praying all goes well.

Good for YOU for having that self-control! I am more like one of those addicts who can't have just one drink!

Thank you! It only took me 3 or 4 tries to actually pull the plug! But so worth it in the end. I also listen to audiobooks much more often than podcasts, which are amazing but can be draining to keep up with depending on the content.
