Your reading list is super inspiring. Thanks for sharing it. I want to get back to reading more books. When one is busy writing a book and articles and doing podcasts it can be challenging. But I miss it a lot.
I really enjoyed seeing your 2025 reading list! It felt like more than a list of titles — it showed what nourished you this year. I love how you made space for both spiritual reading and books that simply bring joy. Your mix reminded me that what we read shapes not just our minds but our hearts, and that some books stay with us long after we put them down.
"Nourishment" is a great way to put it! I love that. It helps think about creating a balance between the different types of "nutrients" that feed us in different ways.
This is a wonderful list! I also read “That Hideous Strength” and “Abolition of Man.” I’m hoping to read Wendell Berry this year. Several others have recommended him, too. I just stumbled across your Substack, and I’m so excited to follow along!
Aw thank you for saying so! Wendell Berry is fantastic. Am also working my way through his collected essays. And some poetry. I love listening to interviews with him on YouTube also. It makes reading his words really come alive when I imagine them in his voice.
That one is quick! Hope you enjoy it! They reference it often in "Orphan Black," which is a show I really enjoyed. Yes, these topics...really feels like they choose you a lot of the time.

One of those things that I have to make a priority/commitment or it never gets done!
I want to emulate you. Thanks for the motivation!
I'm very impressed by all that you do! Wishing you a blessed 2026!
Thank you! You too!!

Love the motto! Might as well be mine, as well.
A great list here. Some books I'd read or heard about, some I hadn't. Saved the H.G. Wells audiobook!
Also chuckling about the Begotten or Made into — "which is amazing, whatever he tells you." It really is.
